Where your context lives
In plain text files in a folder you own, under version control. A bearing file (who you are and where you are going), your objectives, a daily note, and a personal layer that grows. The framework we bring is read-only; your notes sit on top of it and are never overwritten by an update.
What it runs on
Any of the major agent runtimes, including open-source ones you can host yourself. The files are the system and the runtime is disposable, so switching is a configuration change, not a migration.
The two gates
Writing to memory requires your approval. Sending, spending, publishing, or deleting requires your approval. Deny rules block destructive actions even when the agent runs unattended. These are settings enforced by the runtime, not instructions it is asked to follow.
Working while you sleep
An always-on instance, on a small server you own or one we run for you, does its nightly and weekly work and hands you proposals. Nothing lands in your files until a person accepts it.
How it gets wiser
A weekly review moves what you have actually lived from a holding area into settled knowledge. Nothing becomes permanent about you until you have confirmed it. That gate is the part no vendor ships.
